Food Sourcing Manager – Food Bank

About the role

Food for All Africa, West Africa’s first and largest food bank, is seeking a Food Sourcing Manager to lead its food acquisition strategy. Based in Shai Hills, Greater Accra, you will travel nationwide to build partnerships that increase food donations and reduce waste.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to grow food donations.
• Identify, engage and maintain relationships with manufacturers, supermarkets, farms, restaurants and corporate donors.
• Negotiate recovery agreements and donation partnerships.
• Coordinate collection schedules with logistics and warehouse teams.
• Monitor inventory trends and donor contributions.
• Prepare monthly sourcing reports and impact assessments.
• Represent the organization at stakeholder meetings and industry events.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness, Food Science, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, food recovery or donor relations.
• Strong networking, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
• Valid driver’s license is an advantage.
