Founder's Associate

About the role

The Founder's Associate acts as a strategic assistant to the Founder and President, providing executive-level support across all dimensions of the organization's operations. The role bridges the Founder's vision with organizational execution, ensuring strategic priorities are turned into action, teams are coordinated and the organization delivers well across programme delivery, partnerships, communications, fundraising and organizational development. It is a high-impact position requiring discretion, strategic thinking and a strong commitment to the mission.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, International Development or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in executive support, programme management, project management, nonprofit management or development programmes.
• Experience coordinating teams, consultants, facilitators, partners and vendors.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication, including report and proposal writing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs and PowerPoint/Slides.
• Experience collecting, organizing, analyzing and presenting data.
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Desirable: project/programme management certification, chief of staff or executive support experience, MEL, Theory of Change, LogFrames and knowledge of entrepreneurship, impact investing or blended finance.
