Full Stack Technical Lead (.NET, React)

About the role

We are looking for a Full‑Stack Technical Lead to drive the technical direction of our web, mobile and backend platforms. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will own architecture, set engineering standards and mentor a growing team of developers in Accra, Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce end‑to‑end technical direction across web (React/Next.js), mobile (React Native) and .NET Core backend services.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions on modular monolith vs. micro‑services, service boundaries and integration patterns.
• Apply Domain‑Driven Design to establish clear domain boundaries, bounded contexts and domain events.
• Set standards for code quality, testing, API contracts and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Project Managers to clarify requirements, break epics into deliverable slices and estimate work.
• Plan sprints, manage dependencies, mitigate risks and balance product speed with technical sustainability.
• Lead and mentor engineers through pair programming, design and code reviews.
• Support hiring, onboarding and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement resilient APIs, security fundamentals and background processing in .NET Core.
• Drive database schema design, migrations, indexing and query optimisation.
• Establish observability foundations for system health monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior engineer or technical lead with ownership of delivery.
• Strong system‑design skills and ability to communicate architectural trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience shipping production‑grade full‑stack products across web, mobile and backend.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and building high‑performing teams.
