FullStack Technical Leader (.NET Core, React)

About the role

The Full‑Stack Technical Leader drives the technical vision and hands‑on delivery for web, mobile, and backend platforms. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will shape architecture, set engineering standards, and mentor a growing team of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end technical direction across web, mobile, and backend, aligning with business goals.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions (modular monolith vs. microservices), define service boundaries and integration patterns.
• Apply Domain‑Driven Design to establish clear domain boundaries, bounded contexts, aggregates, and domain events.
• Set and enforce high standards for code quality, testing, API contracts, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Project Managers to clarify requirements, break epics into deliverable slices, and estimate work.
• Plan sprints and releases, manage dependencies and risks, and balance speed with technical sustainability.
• Lead and mentor engineers through pair programming, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and the development of a strong engineering culture.
• Guide UI development on web (React/Next.js) and mobile (React Native), ensuring performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Design and implement backend services in .NET Core, including API design, security, and resilient patterns.
• Drive database design, migrations, indexing, and query optimisation.
• Establish observability foundations for system health monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven full‑stack experience shipping production products on frontend, backend, and mobile.
• Previous senior engineer or tech‑lead role with ownership of delivery and mentorship track record.
• Strong system‑design skills and ability to communicate architectural trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience applying Domain‑Driven Design in real projects.
