Head of Finance, Reporting and Tax

About the role

The Head of Finance, Reporting and Tax will lead the company’s financial reporting, accounting and tax planning functions. Reporting to the CFO, this senior leader will ensure accurate, timely financial statements, compliance with regulatory requirements and the implementation of financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the CFO in strategic planning by providing commercial and financial insights.
• Consolidate financial data for group‑level reporting and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements in line with IFRS 17, statutory and regulatory standards.
• Manage the business planning and budgeting process, including capital expenditures, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Maintain effective financial systems, controls and processes across the organisation.
• Oversee tax compliance, tax computations and related reporting obligations.
• Develop and update policies and procedures for the financial reporting process.
• Generate cost statements, analyse cash flows and forecast future financial trends.
• Collaborate with all business units to align commercial priorities with financial targets.

Required profile

• Executive or Master’s degree in Financial Management, Accounting or a related field.
• Qualified accountant (ICAGH, ACCA or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of finance, accounting or investment experience, with 5 years in a management role.
