Head of Local Corporate Banking

About the role

The Head of Local Corporate (LOC) leads the corporate banking unit, delivering comprehensive financial solutions to mid‑ and large‑cap domestic companies across multiple industries. Reporting to the Affiliate Head of Consumer & Commercial Banking, the role drives client acquisition, relationship management, credit structuring and portfolio oversight to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the local corporate strategy, targeting medium and large domestic firms.
• Acquire new corporate clients and deepen existing relationships to expand loans, deposits, trade finance and fee income.
• Design and deliver tailored financing solutions, including working capital facilities, term loans, trade services, cash management, FX and treasury products.
• Oversee credit origination, structuring, negotiation and documentation while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead a high‑performing team of relationship managers, credit analysts and product specialists.
• Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance and early‑warning indicators to maintain asset quality.
• Coordinate cross‑selling of digital platforms, payroll, insurance, asset management and investment banking services.
• Collaborate with risk, legal, compliance and operations to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in corporate banking or a related financial services area.
• Strong track record of client acquisition, credit structuring and portfolio management.
• Deep understanding of corporate finance products, risk assessment and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with C‑suite executives and board members.
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
