HRIS Support Superintendent

About the role

The HRIS Support Superintendent will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of the HR information system and remuneration frameworks for a leading gold mining company in Ghana. You will ensure data integrity, statutory compliance and deliver actionable HR analytics to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement best‑fit practices across remuneration and HRIS and develop quarterly HRIS roadmaps aligned to fiscal objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement of remuneration cycles, including templates, surveys, wage mandates and bonuses.
• Establish data‑integrity, privacy and compliance controls; lead monthly and quarterly HRIS audits.
• Administer SAP HRIS, governing configuration, security access and resolution of support tickets.
• Maintain the HR intranet, deliver user training and enhance digital literacy.
• Validate time‑and‑attendance workflows to ensure accurate synchronization with payroll.
• Produce timely HR metrics, reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 8 years HRIS experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of Ghana’s Data Protection Act (2012) and Labour Act (2003) and general labor law.
• Experience with HR database administration and HR business processes.
• Strong leadership, safety focus and ability to develop direct reports.
• Valid Ghanaian driving licence and ability to drive a light vehicle.
