Human Resources Superintendent

About the role

Genser Energy Ghana Limited (GEGL) is hiring a Human Resources Superintendent for its Operations & Maintenance (Midstream) division, reporting directly to the VP of Operations (MID). The role covers HRIS management, employee relations, training and development, payroll administration, benefits and compensation, and general HR administration, ensuring HR strategies align with organizational goals and supporting employee growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate job descriptions, lead recruitment and interviews, draft offer letters and contracts, and run onboarding and offboarding processes
• Keep employee records in the HRIS up to date, including benefits, health insurance and pension plans
• Manage payroll, benefits and leave programs, and administer disciplinary investigations with Health & Safety and Legal & Compliance
• Ensure Ghanaian immigration requirements are met for foreign nationals, and oversee office spaces and guesthouses
• Handle procurement and service order agreements, assist with the monthly budget and manage cost control and expenditure forecasting
• Run training and development programs, performance appraisals and development plans, and coordinate rotational schedules

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR or Psychology (mandatory); Master's in Business is a plus
• Multicultural experience is mandatory
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Business Administration, HR or Organizational Development
