Senior Talent Management Associate

About the role

The Senior Talent Management Associate will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of performance management, succession planning and other talent management programs for Genser Energy Ghana. The role ensures employees are effectively evaluated, developed and prepared to meet current and future talent needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and refine performance management frameworks, policies, manuals and processes.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end performance cycle, including goal setting, quarterly reviews, development planning and appraisals.
• Partner with department heads to align performance objectives with organisational goals and translate them into individual targets.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on goal setting, feedback delivery and performance conversations.
• Support automation and continuous improvement of performance processes using HR technology.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends, capability gaps and development needs.
• Design and execute succession planning for critical and leadership roles, maintaining up‑to‑date talent review documentation.
• Identify high‑potential employees and create individualized development plans to support internal mobility and retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (mandatory).
• 6+ years of HR experience in a Big 4 or equivalent, preferably in Oil & Gas or Energy, with strong focus on performance management and succession planning.
• Multicultural experience and proficiency in French are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with Performance Management System software such as BambooHR, SuccessFactors, Workday or PerformYard.
