Information Technology Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Information Technology Technician to join Dankslite Limited’s team in Obuasi. The role is full‑time and on‑site, providing day‑to‑day IT support for both clients and internal staff. You will ensure that hardware, software and network infrastructures operate smoothly and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Set up, update and troubleshoot operating systems and business applications.
• Configure and monitor networking devices, including switches and routers.
• Perform regular system upgrades, patches and routine health checks.
• Provide first‑line technical support, diagnose issues and resolve incidents promptly.
• Document incidents, solutions and maintain accurate service records.
• Assist with basic cybersecurity measures and safe system administration practices.
• Support training sessions on common business and IT applications.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in IT covering hardware, software and basic networking concepts.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops and business applications.
• Ability to deliver clear, professional customer service.
• Relevant IT, Computer Science or related diploma/degree preferred.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Obuasi on a full‑time basis.
