Internship Slots - Customer Service, Training, Content, M&E and Fundraising

About the role

African Centre for Technical Training (ACTT) is recruiting interns in Adenta, Accra, to support its operations across several functions. The internship lasts 6 months and reports to supervisors. The ideal intern is curious, ready to learn and uses data to build or improve systems.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: answering calls, handling enquiries from students, parents and partners by email, message and social media, hosting campus tours, managing data and documenting processes
• Training and quality assurance: assisting facilitators in theory and practical classes, keeping student records, managing inventory and data, documenting processes
• Content creation and marketing: producing social media content such as photos, infographics, memes, videos, stories and live streams, graphic design, writing blog posts, posting and commenting, managing data and documenting processes
• Monitoring and evaluation: maintaining relationships with students, graduates, parents and sponsors, collecting student and alumni information, analysing data to inform decisions and documenting processes
• Fundraising: researching philanthropic capital and investors, applying for funding and in-kind support, updating decks, budgets and proposals, managing data and documenting processes
• Other reasonable tasks within scope

Required profile

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing or education
• Serious attitude towards learning, growth and impact
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in a start-up environment and a participatory community
• Integrity, confidentiality and ethical standards
• Nice to have: living close to Adenta, attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency in slide preparation and presentations
