Junior Associate, Technology & Engineering Internship

About the role

Kudi Systems Ltd, a fintech startup in Ghana, is looking for a Junior Associate to support its Technology & Engineering function. This hybrid internship will give you hands‑on experience across software development, technical operations, and system support while working on the SPPay platform.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving backend services, APIs, internal tools, and frontend applications.
• Support the implementation of software features for web, mobile, and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate business requirements into clean, maintainable code.
• Participate in API integration, testing, debugging, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Provide basic IT operations support, system monitoring, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Take part in sprint planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and feature delivery.
• Document technical processes, fixes, and learnings for assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Completed tertiary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• National Service completed within the last two years.
• Foundational knowledge of both backend and frontend software engineering.
• Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming principles.
• Analytical mindset with good problem‑solving abilities.
