Lead Instructor – Training Lead for Climate‑Resilient Agri‑Finance

About the role

Amarante Consulting is looking for an experienced Lead Instructor to design and deliver a comprehensive training programme that strengthens climate‑resilient agri‑finance services for women smallholder farmers in Ghana. The role combines curriculum development, Training‑of‑Trainers delivery, and on‑site coaching across multiple pilot branches.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead an integrated training plan covering climate risk screening, digital loan origination workflows, and green agricultural finance products.
• Design and deliver Training‑of‑Trainers (ToT) sessions at headquarters, creating a cadre of certified internal trainers.
• Provide regional trainings and on‑the‑job coaching to branch‑level staff across five pilot branches.
• Produce training packages, facilitator guides, session plans, and training completion reports.
• Align training delivery with the pilot rollout calendar to ensure manageable workloads for branch staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience designing and delivering training for financial institution staff or rural field teams.
• Proven expertise in Training‑of‑Trainers, coaching, and adult learning methodologies.
• Based in Ghana.
• Experience creating curricula, facilitator guides, session plans, and evaluation tools.
• Familiarity with agricultural finance, micro‑finance, or rural banking operations is strongly preferred.
• Experience training frontline or branch‑level staff in a financial institution context.
• Comfort working across climate risk tools, digital workflows, and green finance products within a coordinated programme.
• Degree in education, adult learning, social sciences, agribusiness, finance, or a related field.
