About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for a Lecturer position within its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in selected departments such as Mobile and Pervasive Computing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or General Studies.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Engage in scholarly research and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Participate in community outreach and service activities aligned with the university’s mission.
• Contribute to faculty development initiatives, curriculum design, and academic governance.

Required profile

• Possession of a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline of computing, information systems, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise at the university level.
