About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for a Lecturer position within its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The university, a public technology‑oriented institution located in Tesano, Accra, offers an environment conducive to teaching, learning, research and faculty development.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the selected department.
  • Supervise student projects, theses and dissertations.
  • Conduct scholarly research and publish findings.

  • Contribute to faculty development and academic governance.

Required profile

  • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline of computing, information systems, information technology, computer science or related field.
  • Three referees with contact details.

  • Commitment to the responsibilities of a Lecturer at a public university in Ghana.
