Logistics Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Operations Supervisor will lead the local logistics team, manage daily shifts, and ensure efficient road transportation, warehousing, and last‑mile delivery across Accra and Tema.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the local logistics operation team, arrange shifts, assign tasks and assess daily performance.
• Oversee road transportation, cargo pickup, warehousing, sorting and last‑mile delivery scheduling, guaranteeing on‑time delivery and zero loss.
• Supervise processing of logistics orders, verify waybills, delivery and customs documents, and ensure proper filing.
• Manage daily warehouse activities, control inventory accuracy, optimise layout and reduce damage.
• Handle abnormal situations such as delays, damage or complaints, and propose risk‑mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with transporters, warehouse partners and third‑party logistics suppliers, maintaining client communication.
• Analyse operation data, produce weekly/monthly reports and continuously optimise processes to cut costs and improve service quality.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 or higher; logistics, supply chain or business studies preferred.
• 2–4 years of local logistics operation experience, with at least 1 year in team supervision.
• Familiarity with Ghanaian road transport rules, warehousing processes and delivery market conditions.
• Fluent English for communication, negotiation and report writing.
• Strong responsibility, ability to work under pressure and excellent execution skills.
