Marketing Executive

About the role

Shipfast Cargo & Logistic Ltd is hiring a full-time Marketing Executive based in Accra. The role covers strategy, digital and offline campaigns, brand management and close collaboration with sales and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, including channel selection, objectives and budgets to maximise ROI.
• Conduct market research and analysis on trends, competitors and customer needs to find growth opportunities.
• Create marketing campaigns with compelling content, promotional materials, social media management and advertising coordination.
• Plan and run digital campaigns (SEO, SEM, email, social media, content marketing), monitor performance and recommend optimisation.
• Oversee offline activities such as trade shows, industry events, sponsorships and print advertising, and work with external agencies and vendors.
• Track metrics such as website traffic, leads, conversion rates and customer acquisition cost, and report regularly to management.
• Work with the sales team on sales support materials and training, and with operations to align marketing with service capabilities.
• Maintain brand consistency across channels and enforce brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.
• 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Familiarity with freight forwarding and logistics terminology is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in market research and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, creative thinking and problem solving.
• Project management and organisational skills, able to work independently and in a team.
• Desirable: CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, Google Analytics and Adobe Creative Suite.
