Mechanical Technician – Plant Maintenance (GMP)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Technician to support the installation, maintenance and qualification of plant equipment in a GMP‑compliant pharmaceutical environment. The role is based in Tema and involves direct work on production lines and related installations.

Key responsibilities

• Install new plant equipment and carry out modifications according to engineering specifications.
• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance plans for machines, installations and auxiliary systems.
• Perform basic repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
• Support equipment qualification activities in line with the annual qualification plan.
• Supervise external contractors during installation or modification projects to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assist in adjusting and re‑formatting production equipment when required.
• Communicate spare‑part and consumable needs to the maintenance supervisor.

Required profile

• NVTI certificate in Mechanical or a Diploma in Mechanical (Plant).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or industrial installations and equipment.
