Medical Doctor (Physician) Position

About the role
Lapaz Community Hospital is seeking qualified Medical Doctors to join its clinical team in Lapaz, Accra. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, diagnosing and managing illnesses, and supporting the hospital’s medical services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and clinical assessments.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe appropriate treatments and follow‑up plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Participate in emergency response and on‑call duties.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Required profile
- Hold an MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.
- Registered with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council.
- Minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience as a Medical Doctor.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and ethical standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy hospital environment.
