Medical Sales Specialist

About the role

The Medical Sales Specialist will promote and sell a range of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, diagnostic solutions and related healthcare services across the Accra and Tema regions. You will build strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, laboratories and pharmacies, acting as the key point of contact for product information and support.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for assigned product portfolio.
• Identify and generate new leads through field visits, networking, referrals and market research.
• Convert qualified leads into orders and long‑term business opportunities.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain regular customer visits, follow‑up on quotations and enquiries.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
• Keep an up‑to‑date sales pipeline and accurate records in CRM/ERP systems.
• Prepare and submit sales and activity reports within required timelines.
• Provide post‑sale customer service and support.
• Participate in product, sales and professional training organized by the company.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, Biological Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic or healthcare sales is preferred.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and develop customer relationships.
