Mobile Application Developer (Android/iOS)

About the role

Annonymous.ai is looking for an Application Developer based in the Accra and Tema region. You will build and maintain mobile apps for Android and iOS, turn designs into polished screens and release them to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain mobile apps for Android and iOS using Flutter, Kotlin, Swift or another mobile stack.
• Turn Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive and accessible screens.
• Integrate apps with REST APIs and backend services such as Firebase (authentication, databases, push notifications).
• Manage app state and data flow with clean, maintainable architecture.
• Handle local storage, offline behaviour, loading and error states.
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented code and take part in code reviews.
• Write unit and UI tests, fix bugs reported through QA and user feedback, and monitor performance, crashes and analytics.
• Prepare builds and support releases to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Work with designers, backend engineers and product managers in agile sprints.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience building mobile apps.
• At least one app published on the Play Store or App Store, or a public GitHub portfolio of mobile projects.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI, navigation and the app lifecycle.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good problem-solving skills and clear written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one mobile stack: Flutter (Dart), React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript), Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift).
• Experience with state management and architecture patterns such as MVVM, BLoC or Redux.
• REST API consumption and JSON, Firebase or a similar backend service.
• Git and collaborative workflows (branches, pull requests).
• Ability to translate UI/UX designs into polished interfaces.
• Nice to have: multiple stacks, push notifications, maps, camera or payment integrations, CI/CD tools, Figma, clean architecture, automated testing and app security awareness.
