Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer

About the role

Agrisolve is looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer in Greater Accra. The officer strengthens programme impact by designing, implementing and refining MEL systems across agricultural initiatives, ensuring rigorous data collection, analysis and reporting to assess effectiveness, drive adaptive management and support evidence-based decisions. The role works closely with smallholder farmers, women, youth, agribusinesses and stakeholders through Greenconnect Centres, mechanisation services, input credit schemes, market access programmes and digital agriculture platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement MEL frameworks, logical frameworks and results measurement plans aligned with donor, organisational and national goals.
• Design indicators and data collection tools, and lead baseline, midline, endline and impact assessments.
• Conduct field monitoring visits and quality assurance checks, and manage centralised databases and digital data collection systems.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data and produce dashboards, performance reports and visualisations.
• Document lessons learned, run learning workshops and After Action Reviews, and turn insights into practical improvements.
• Design and run research studies on productivity, livelihoods and markets using surveys, focus group discussions and key informant interviews.
• Prepare MEL reports including monthly, quarterly and annual impact reports, donor submissions, outcome harvesting reports and case studies.
• Deliver capacity-building sessions on data collection and results-based management, and represent Agrisolve in technical working groups and donor meetings.
