Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – Agriculture Programme

About the role

The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will support DAI’s Africa Lead II programme, which aims to develop a network of agricultural leaders across Africa to drive innovation, productivity and food security. Based in Accra, the officer will work closely with programme staff, partners and donors to ensure robust monitoring, evaluation and reporting of project results.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for agricultural development activities.
• Collect, analyse and verify data on project performance and outcomes.
• Prepare regular progress reports and donor deliverables.
• Support learning and knowledge‑sharing activities across the programme.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure data quality and timely submission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in development, agriculture, economics or a related field.
• Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in monitoring, evaluation or reporting for economic or agricultural development projects.
• Fluency in English and French (bilingual preferred).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with donor‑funded programmes.
