Multiple Teaching Positions – Kwahu West Municipality

About the role

Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) is recruiting qualified teachers for 25 positions across a range of schools in Kwahu West Municipality. The roles cover early childhood care and development, lower and upper primary classes, junior high subjects, special education, library services, physical education and co‑curricular programmes. Successful candidates will support the implementation of the new standards‑based curriculum introduced by the Ministry of Education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons to students at the assigned level.
• Assess and record student progress in accordance with Ministry guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with headteachers and school managers to ensure curriculum standards are met.
• Provide specialised support for learners with special educational needs where applicable.
• Manage library resources, physical education activities or co‑curricular programmes as relevant to the position.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification or certificate for the specific teaching level.
• Experience appropriate to the position (e.g., early childhood, primary, junior high, special education, library, PE or co‑curricular instruction).
• Commitment to the new standards‑based curriculum and Ghanaian education policies.
• Ability to work effectively within a school community in Kwahu West Municipality.
