National Service Personnel – Strategy and Transactions

About the role

Join EY's Strategy and Transactions team as a National Service Personnel and support a variety of engagements across multiple industry sectors. This internship offers hands‑on experience in strategic planning, transaction support, and market research while working alongside senior consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of strategic plans, market entry strategies and growth initiatives for clients.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops to gather objectives and provide analytical insights.
• Prepare presentations, information memoranda and other transaction‑related documents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in coordinating transaction processes, liaising with clients, legal advisors and other professionals.
• Collect, organise and analyse financial and operational data during due‑diligence activities.
• Identify risks and opportunities associated with potential transactions.
• Research industry trends, market conditions and competitive landscapes to inform transaction strategies.
• Compile industry reports and analyse financial statements to support valuation and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Final‑year university student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Expected CGPA of Second Class Upper or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Motivation to pursue a professional accounting qualification (ICAG/ACCA/CIMA membership is a plus).
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work constructively within a team.
