National Service Personnel – Tax

About the role

As a National Service Personnel in EY’s Tax team, you will support a variety of tax engagements across multiple industry sectors, working closely with senior staff to deliver high‑quality tax services. This position is designed for final‑year university students pursuing finance, accounting or related degrees.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns, supporting schedules and assist with filing.
• Provide tax advice and help obtain tax exemptions and waivers for clients.
• Liaise with the Ghana Revenue Authority on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with team members, maintain communication and update senior staff on progress.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.
• Follow risk‑management procedures and build internal relationships across service lines.

Required profile

• Final‑year university student at a recognised institution, studying Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Expected CGPA of Second Class Upper or better.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Positive attitude, self‑motivated and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Member or affiliate of ICAG/ACCA or strong motivation to pursue a professional accounting/tax qualification.
