Network Operations Center Technician

About the role

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician (L1) provides 24/7 real‑time monitoring of K‑NET’s network, systems and service infrastructure. The role ensures rapid detection, classification and escalation of incidents in line with defined service level agreements, supporting high‑availability ISP, telecom and broadcast environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network, systems and service infrastructure continuously.
• Detect, classify and escalate incidents according to SLA requirements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network equipment to minimise service disruption.
• Support high‑availability environments for ISP, telecom and broadcast services.
• Ensure optimal network performance and system uptime across all managed platforms.

Required profile

• Experience working in a Network Operations Center or with computer network operations.
• Proficiency in network administration and equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Technical support experience with effective client communication.
• Ability to work efficiently on‑site in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
