Oracle Application Developer (SOA, OSB, MFT, WebCenter)

About the role

The Oracle Application Developer will design, build and maintain integration solutions using Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Managed File Transfer (MFT) and WebCenter technologies. You will work closely with architects, security and operations teams to deliver reliable, secure services for enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate OSB with Oracle, SQL Server, ERP systems and external services.
• Implement fault handling, error recovery and robust security policies (WS‑Security, SSL, encryption).
• Develop and configure integration services, pipelines, mediations and transformations using XML, XSLT, XQuery.
• Install, configure and administer Oracle OSB, MFT, WebCenter Portal/Content and WebLogic clusters.
• Manage secure file transfers (SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS) and encryption key/certificate management.
• Deploy, patch and upgrade integrations on Oracle WebLogic, ensuring high availability.
• Document designs, runbooks, disaster‑recovery plans and provide 24/7 production support when required.
• Monitor performance, capacity and conduct root‑cause analysis for middleware issues.
• Support version control (SVN, GIT, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle WebLogic, OSB, MFT, WebCenter and Fusion Middleware.
• Strong knowledge of XML/XSLT/XQuery, WSDL, SOAP, REST and Java.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL and secure transfer protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and basic Linux/Unix administration.
