Paralegal

About the role

Egality Law is a corporate and commercial law firm with offices in Ghana and the UK, specialising in intellectual property, media, and human rights. The firm is seeking Paralegals who are currently studying law or have recently completed their law studies. Prior work experience is desirable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lawyers with legal research and drafting of documents.
• Support client meetings, including managing diaries, correspondence, and logistics.
• Correspond with clients, external lawyers and government officials on behalf of the firm.
• Handle administrative and office tasks.
• Implement and improve administrative processes for efficient workflow.
• Maintain strict confidentiality on all firm work and communications.

Required profile

• A First Class or Second Class Upper law degree, or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office suite).
• Highest level of integrity.
• Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
• A sense of humour and ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Proficiency in a foreign language.
