Presenter (National Service Position)

About the role

Insight Ghana is seeking a full‑time Presenter on a National Service basis to host news and current affairs programmes. The role is based on‑site in Accra and involves delivering clear, engaging on‑air presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Host news and current affairs segments, introduce stories and interview guests both in studio and on location.
• Research topics, prepare scripts or talking points, and collaborate with producers and reporters to ensure accurate and engaging content.
• Engage audiences across digital platforms and support live coverage of events while adhering to editorial guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication, clear articulation and confident on‑air or public speaking skills.
• Understanding of news, current affairs and socio‑political issues in Ghana and across Africa.
• National Service eligibility in Ghana; a degree or diploma in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies or related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic digital media skills, including familiarity with online news platforms and social media engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced newsroom environment and manage time effectively.
