President (Chief Executive Officer) of a Tertiary Institute

About the role

The Data Link Institute is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Reporting to the Governing Council, the President will act as the academic and administrative head of the institute, overseeing both staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to achieve the institute’s vision, mission, and objectives.
• Serve as the chief disciplinary officer, ensuring compliance with institute statutes.
• Oversee prudent financial management and human‑resource administration.
• Foster relationships with industry partners to enhance academic and professional opportunities.
• Represent the institute internally and externally, projecting its image and reputation.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (or equivalent based on experience).
• Minimum eight (8) years of senior management experience in a tertiary institution or relevant industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven integrity, creativity, and sound judgment.
• Visionary, goal‑oriented, and capable of driving academic and professional advancement.
