Product Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Product Security Engineer to lead the integration of security features into our embedded hardware platforms. You will work on secure boot, TrustZone, and hardware‑backed encryption across new products, ensuring a consistent and secure experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Enable security features such as secure boot, ARM TrustZone/OP‑TEE, and hardware‑backed encryption on new hardware.
• Maintain and harden the Torizon OS stack, ensuring configurations are secure‑by‑default.
• Monitor upstream CVEs, assess impact on products, apply patches, and draft security advisories.
• Develop and maintain internal tooling for vulnerability management.
• Automate security test coverage using hardware‑in‑the‑loop frameworks such as LAVA.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security into the full product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in embedded systems security or Linux security engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with bootloaders (e.g., U‑Boot) and kernel security features.
• Proficiency with embedded Linux build systems such as Yocto/OpenEmbedded or Buildroot.
• Strong C/C++ coding and debugging skills.
• Experience automating security checks in CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of threat‑modeling, regulatory compliance, and security evaluation tools is a plus.
