About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for a full‑time Professor position within its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The successful candidate will join a technology‑focused public university in Tesano, Accra, contributing to teaching, research, and community service in one of the designated departments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the chosen department.
• Supervise graduate theses and research projects.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish in recognized journals.
• Secure research funding and collaborate with industry partners.
• Participate in departmental and university committees.
• Engage in community service and faculty development activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Mobile Computing, etc.).
• Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or an Associate Professor with at least three years at that rank.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) publications in recognized scholarly journals.
• Three referees with full contact details.
