Program Director - National Fuel Marking Program

About the role

The Director, Programme Operations will provide operational leadership for the National Fuel Marking Program in Ghana, serving as the main point of contact with the customer, in‑country partner and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for country operations and ensure alignment with global commercial and technology objectives.
• Own program P&L health, revenue collection, contractual performance and profitability.
• Lead risk identification, mitigation and compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing multidisciplinary operations team.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing large‑scale government or regulatory programs in Ghana or West/Central Africa.
• Deep expertise in government relations with senior ministerial or agency contacts.
• Significant experience in downstream oil & gas operations, fuel distribution or logistics.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to senior government officials and global executives.
