Project Coordinator – Banking for the Poor (B4P)

About the role

Concern Universal is launching a 30‑month EU/ACP funded microfinance initiative across six districts in Ghana. The Project Coordinator will lead the day‑to‑day implementation of the Banking for the Poor (B4P) component in the Brong Ahafo Region, ensuring that project activities reach the intended beneficiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual, quarterly and monthly work plans and budgets together with the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with field officers to guarantee effective and efficient delivery of project outputs.
• Prepare periodic progress and financial reports for donors and partners.
• Design and maintain monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems, collect data and produce regular M&E reports.
• Support the drafting of new project proposals and contribute to continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a development‑related field or a comparable discipline.
• At least two years of experience with an international NGO, preferably in community development or micro‑finance programmes.
• Experience with community‑based micro‑finance schemes such as Village Savings and Loans is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in rural settings and travel across the region.
