About the role
The LOGMe II project, funded by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, seeks a Project Intern to support its environmental diplomacy and governance work in Ghana and Burkina Faso. The internship offers hands‑on experience at the interface of science, policy and practice, contributing to land‑degradation neutrality and sustainable development goals.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research and literature reviews on land degradation neutrality, climate resilience and green‑economy initiatives.
- Assist in coordinating stakeholder meetings, workshops and partnership activities.
- Support the preparation, review and synthesis of policy and planning documents.
- Maintain knowledge‑management tools and update project documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the National Project Coordinator and the Ghana Project Office.
Required profile
- Current enrolment in a university programme related to environmental studies, geography, international relations or a similar field.
- Strong analytical and writing skills with an interest in environmental governance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, multi‑country team.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
