Regional Senior Business Advisor (Risk & Governance)

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Senior Business Advisor to provide high‑quality advisory services that strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across the region. Reporting to the Regional Audit Director, you will support strategic initiatives with data‑driven insights and practical recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic and operational advisory services, including self‑assessments of risk and control practices and thematic engagements such as fraud prevention and procurement integrity.
• Partner with regional and national leadership to advise on business risks, operational effectiveness and process improvements.
• Strengthen risk culture by monitoring trends, sharing lessons learned and recommending preventive actions.
• Plan, coordinate and direct Regional Assurance & Advisory team members, ensuring evidence‑based advisory activities aligned with global frameworks.
• Prepare concise advisory reports and briefings with prioritized, actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Demonstrated high ethical standards and ability to lead complex advisory engagements with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• Eligible to work in any location where World Vision International is registered.
• Senior‑level experience in risk, governance or internal audit functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the COSO internal control framework.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000 risk management standards.
