Registered Nurse – Maternity & Child Health

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our maternity home and clinic in Ghana on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality patient care across antenatal, postnatal and general health services, while supporting our team in delivering safe maternity procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pregnant women, new mothers and children.
• Manage antenatal and postnatal services, including routine health assessments.
• Assist physicians and midwives with maternity‑related procedures.
• Educate patients on family planning, child welfare and general health topics.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Active registration as a Registered Nurse in Ghana.
• Demonstrated experience in patient care, particularly in antenatal, postnatal and maternity settings (experience is an asset).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced healthcare environment with strong decision‑making skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, client‑centered care.
