Sales and Marketing Specialist - Life Assurance

About the role

StarLife Assurance Company Limited, a leading life assurance provider in Ghana, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist in Kumasi. The role promotes life assurance products, identifies new business opportunities and builds relationships with individual and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client needs assessments, present tailored product solutions and follow up on leads to close sales and meet targets.
• Support marketing campaigns and organize and facilitate training sessions or product briefings for clients and internal teams.
• Provide high-quality customer service throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare regular sales reports and collaborate with colleagues to improve sales processes.
• Represent StarLife at events and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Proven sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, closing and working toward ambitious sales targets.
• Experience in sales management or coordinating sales activities, with the ability to track performance and support team objectives.
• Ability to deliver training sessions on products and services.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant experience in insurance, financial services or related industries is an advantage.

• Excellent customer service, with the ability to build trust and resolve issues promptly.
• Comfort with basic digital tools such as email, CRM systems and office productivity software.
