Sales Executive - Amasaman

About the role

M-KOPA is looking for a Sales Executive to join its Sales Team in Ghana, supporting the growth of its field team of Direct Sales Representatives. The role is on-site, based at the office in Ghana, and reports to the Regional Manager. It involves recruiting, training, coaching and supervising a field team, designing and executing the territory's sales and marketing strategy, and delivering sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach and supervise a field-based team of Direct Sales Representatives, monitoring their performance against M-KOPA's standards.
• Manage DSR inventory and resolve audit recommendations in line with company guidelines.
• Design and execute the sales and marketing strategy for the territory, setting direction for weekly, monthly and quarterly targets and analysing campaign performance.
• Deliver and exceed sales targets by building strong local networks that uphold M-KOPA's brand values and retail point standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrable sales experience in microfinance, insurance, telecommunications, mobile money, FMCG or related sectors in Ghana, with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
• Proven expertise in recruiting, coaching and leading field-based sales teams.
• Proven ability to design and run territory-level sales and marketing strategies that deliver consistent weekly, monthly and quarterly results.
