Sales Executive - Life Insurance

About the role

Vanguard Life, an insurance company based in Ghana offering life insurance and related financial protection, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Executive in Accra. The Sales Executive engages prospective and existing clients, explains life insurance products and recommends solutions that fit individual needs and financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and manage a pipeline of opportunities from first contact through policy issuance.
• Conduct sales meetings and presentations and follow up on client inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with internal teams on policy processing and customer support.
• Meet or exceed sales and performance targets.
• Take part in local outreach activities, build community relationships and uphold ethical, transparent sales practices.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability in customer engagement, consultative selling and relationship building.
• Prior sales or financial services experience is an advantage, preferably in insurance or related fields.
• Ability to work on-site in Accra, meet sales targets and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of a diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with clear verbal and written expression.
• Solid organisational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable using basic office software and digital tools for reporting and client management.
