Sales & Marketing Officer – Eye Care Services

About the role

The company, a leading optical and eye‑care service provider in Ghana, is looking for a proactive Sales & Marketing Officer to drive business growth, acquire new customers and strengthen the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales and business development opportunities.
• Generate, qualify and follow up on leads from individuals, businesses and corporate institutions.
• Support the planning and execution of sales and marketing campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, insurance companies, schools, associations and other partners.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations and client correspondence.
• Conduct market research, monitor customer needs, competitors and industry trends.
• Assist with digital marketing, promotional activities, activations and corporate eye‑screening programmes.
• Track sales activities, enquiries, referrals and campaign performance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing performance reports.
• Collaborate with branch teams to improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention and revenue.
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect data using approved CRM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, business development or B2B relationship management.
• Proven experience in lead generation, client engagement and sales follow‑up.
• Experience in healthcare, optical services, insurance, retail or a service‑based organisation is an advantage.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms and social media analytics.
