Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute sales plans, grow market share and manage distributor and customer relationships across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement territory sales plans, achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets, and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key accounts, negotiate commercial terms and resolve customer complaints.
• Identify potential markets, ensure product availability, monitor shelf placement and conduct market visits for competitor analysis.
• Supervise, coach and set targets for sales representatives, monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Implement trade promotions, coordinate with marketing, and collect customer feedback.
• Prepare accurate sales reports, track inventory, monitor credit and ensure timely documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field (HND acceptable).
• 3–5 years of sales experience in FMCG or related industry, with at least 2 years in field sales supervision or territory management.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and expanding market coverage.
• Willingness to travel extensively and a valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with CRM or ERP sales reporting systems.
