Sales Specialist - Medical Devices

About the role

DCL Laboratory Products, a provider of medical and laboratory devices, is looking for a Sales Specialist in Accra, Ghana. The role promotes and sells medical and laboratory devices to hospitals, clinics and laboratories, and suits someone who understands medical technology and communicates well.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, clinics and laboratories.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned territory and achieve sales targets.
• Learn the product portfolio, its features, benefits and competitive advantages.
• Give product demonstrations and training to healthcare professionals.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitors and market developments.
• Analyse customer feedback to help develop new products or improve existing ones.
• Provide customer support, resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Work with internal teams on delivery and installation.
• Keep accurate records of sales, customer interactions and market intelligence.
• Prepare regular reports for management on sales performance and market trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Biological Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field.
• Proven experience in medical sales is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented and willing to travel within the territory.
