Security Guard

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for a Security Guard at BOT Properties in Legon. You will safeguard the assigned property, monitor entrances, and ensure the safety of tenants and homeowners while providing a welcoming and secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Control access to the property by monitoring entry and exit points.
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and service providers before granting access.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Monitor security systems, CCTV cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment where applicable.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and suspicious activities.

Required profile

• Senior High School Certificate, Diploma or HND.
• 2–5 years proven experience in a security role.
• Minimum height of 5‑6 feet.
• Valid National ID Card and no criminal record.
• Physically fit, able to stand, walk and patrol for extended periods.
• Honest, trustworthy, with high integrity and calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of security operations, access‑control procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Basic CCTV operation and familiarity with security technology.
• Ability to write clear and accurate incident reports.
