Senior Accounts Manager

About the role

Farmerline, an African Agtech company founded in 2013, is hiring a Senior Accounts Manager in its Corporate Services department in Ghana. The role sits under the Head of Account Management and focuses on growing revenue by building and retaining high-value client relationships with Global Food companies, NGOs, social enterprises and agribusinesses. It covers project delivery, client management and business support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high-value accounts, oversee project delivery and meet client expectations, with about 80% of weekly time on project management and reporting
• Lead field projects and activities across Ghana and West Africa, with periodic support for East Africa
• Support smallholder farmers, cooperatives and Fairtrade contributors with training, licensing, certification, mapping, traceability and EUDR compliance
• Lead social impact projects such as child labour monitoring, deforestation tracking, premium payment transparency and climate adaptation, and help clients achieve ESG goals
• Use data and AI tools (Darli AI, ChatGPT, Claude, data visualisation platforms) to track performance and improve reporting
• Prepare client and impact reports, train team members on products and services, and support the onboarding of cooperatives and out-grower networks
• Create presentations, case studies and marketing visibility, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to write proposals and close deals
• Upsell Mergdata services, attend trade shows and stay current on regulations such as EUDR and Fairtrade standards
• Monitor client satisfaction, manage partner requests and prepare exit strategies for accounts being transitioned
• Maintain accurate client records in the CRM and ensure compliance with policies and contracts

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration, International Development, Agricultural Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in account management, client success or project management in SaaS, AgriTech or agricultural development
• Extensive experience working with NGOs and Global Food companies
