Senior Application Support Specialist

About the role

The Senior Application Support Specialist provides production support for Transmed enterprise applications and participates in projects such as releases, upgrades, and new implementations. The role ensures change management, quality assurance, and testing are completed before changes reach the production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 2nd‑level technical support for enterprise applications, handling operational, administrative, and support requests.
• Coordinate change management activities for internally developed, partner, and vendor‑provided applications.
• Collaborate with business functions and IT teams to implement and maintain applications in production.
• Research, recommend, and apply best practices for issue resolution and system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain support documentation, SOPs, service level settings, and escalation matrices.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on application features and capabilities.
• Prepare implementation communication and production change plans to ensure smooth delivery.
• Maintain relationships with application partners and vendors to resolve problems and manage releases.
• Analyze performance reports, identify root causes, and propose permanent solutions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in application support and 2nd‑level troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to manage change, perform impact analysis, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for delivering training and documentation.
• Experience working with enterprise‑wide applications and vendor relationships.
