About the role

The University seeks a dynamic, self‑motivated professional to join its Works and Physical Development Office as a Senior Assistant Development Officer. This senior‑level position supports the Director of Works and Physical Development in managing university infrastructure projects and ensuring compliance with the Technical Universities Act 2016.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director in the overall administration of the Works and Physical Development Office.
• Coordinate and oversee development projects in line with statutory requirements.
• Apply sound judgement, initiative, and precision in all specialised tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to university construction and development activities.

Required profile

• Research Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Civil Engineering, plus a relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum six (6) years’ experience as an Assistant Development Officer or in a comparable university role.
• Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Evidence of scholarly papers and publications for external assessment.
