Senior Embedded Linux Engineer (Cloud, DevOps, Platform)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to join our R&D team developing a Linux‑based industrial IoT platform. You will work on a full‑stack, DevOps‑oriented solution that integrates edge hardware, a Linux OS, cloud‑based updates and fleet management for high‑reliability, secure applications.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the operating system for multiple SoC platforms (e.g., NXP, TI) and third‑party hardware.
• Collaborate closely with other R&D teams to ensure a seamless full‑stack approach.
• Develop and enhance automated build pipelines and test suites to guarantee software quality.
• Continuously improve DevOps best practices across the project.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience with Linux, especially in embedded environments.
• Strong background in OpenEmbedded/Yocto and its best practices.
• Proactive communication skills and ability to work in a globally distributed team.
• Nice to have: contributions to FOSS projects or Debian.
• Willingness to learn advanced debugging, CI/CD, and automated testing techniques.
