Software Engineering Intern – React Native/React.js & Python

About the role

Join Livestockly, a fast‑growing Ghanaian startup reshaping livestock and meat trade across Africa. As a Software Engineering Intern you will work on real‑world features that impact actual customers, gaining hands‑on experience in both frontend and backend development.

Key responsibilities

• Build new user‑facing features using React Native or React.js.
• Develop backend APIs with Python (FastAPI preferred).
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and integrate third‑party services.
• Fix bugs, optimise performance and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate on product design and technical decisions.

Required profile

• Familiarity with React Native or React.js.
• Comfortable writing Python code.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Strong willingness to learn and solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
